Day Before Departure

We will host a safety briefing in Cape Town where we check all your polar clothing and prepare you for your flight south.

Day 1

Take off from Cape Town aboard our Gulfstream for a 5-hour flight across the southern ocean towards the polar circle. After landing you will be transferred to our camp at which away and take a gentle hike across the oasis.

Day 2

Settle into whichaway oasis and do as much or as you like each day. yoga, massages, hiking, ice climbing.

Day 3

Enjoy a two flight over the white desert with spectacular views of the coastline and nearby mountain ranges before landing at the emperor penguin colony at akta beach. The site of David Attenborough’s ground -break documentary seven world, one planet.

Day 4

Spend a day exploring ancient ice tunnel, astonishing ice waves and end off with an artic. Truck safari through the ice and snow to a stunting vantage point where you can take in the panoramic views overt the great white continent.

Day 5

Start your day early with a morning flight on one of our Basler BT-67 aircraft as we make our way towards the South Pole. After a quick stop to refuel at 83deg south, we will land at Amundsen-Scott Research base and spend the afternoon exploring the southmost point on earth before making our way back to 83deg south for an overnight stay.

Day 6

After a night under the canvas and a hearty breakfast, we are wheels up and will and will make our way back to whichaway oasis for a special 3 course champagne dinner to celebrate a monumental expedition to the south pole.

Day 7

Enjoy an adventurous hike along a winding cliff face under the care and guidance of our world class mountain guides as you take in the breathtaking views of the polar circle and enjoy countless photo opportunities.

Day 8

Settle into another luxurious flight abroad our gulfstream as we make our way back to the tip of Africa. On arrival back in Cape town, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will finally have a chance to relax and relax and reflect on your Antarctica adventure.
