DAY 01: ARRIVE MELBOURNE

A Warm Welcome to the Land Down Under! Tripoly is excited to have you here as we embark on an unforgettable adventure in Melbourne, Known for its gardens, restaurants, cafes, arcades and laneways, the arts and its relaxed elegant charm. Upon your arrival at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport, after clearing customs and immigration, you will be comfortably transferred to the hotel for a smooth check in. (Standard Check-In Time: 1500 Hrs). As the day unfolds take this time to relax, unwind and prepare for the enriching adventures that await you. Let the anticipation of exploration set the tone for a tour that promises to be the most enriching of your life.

After breakfast this morning, check out of your hotel and at get ready to explore Melbourne’s vibrant culture and history. It’s also home to the Australian Open Tennis, Aussie Rules football, Melbourne Cup and the MCG! The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), also known locally as “The ‘G” ,is an Australian sports stadium located in Yarra Park, Melbourne, Victoria. Explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, walk on the hallowed arena and in the footsteps of where legends have walked, by taking a guided MCG Tour. Immerse yourself in the history and world-class facilities of the MCG, as you go behind-the-scenes to gain an insight into Melbourne’s sporting culture, while exploring one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.

Following the MCG visit, continue exploring Melbourne’s key attractions. After breakfast today, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the Kuranda Rainforest. Begin the tour with the famous Kuranda Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Sit back, relax and take in the spectacular views as you wind your way up to quaint village of Kuranda. Enjoy your journey, gliding silently over and through the rainforest, enjoying beautiful views along the way. There is plenty of time to explore, including the Heritage Markets which operate daily. Transfer to the Hotel for Check In.

This morning after breakfast, proceed towards one of Australia’s most remarkable natural gifts, the Great Barrier Reef! GBR blessed with the breathtaking beauty of the world’s largest coral reef. The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises of over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally hundreds of picturesque tropical islands with some of the world’s most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches. Because of its natural beauty, the Great Barrier Reef has become one of the world’s most sought after tourist destinations. Transfer to Green Island by modern air-conditioned catamaran.
