Embarking on a wildlife safari in Kenya is the ultimate way to witness the beauty, grace, and ferocity of cheetahs. Unlike their feline counterparts – tigers, lions, and leopards, cheetahs pose the least danger, allowing visitors to observe them up close without risking their safety.

Known as the fastest land animal, the cheetah’s slim, elegant form is a sight to behold in the vast open grasslands of Kenya. They are the greyhounds of the wild, their long legs and deep chests enabling them to reach speeds over 100km/hr in short bursts. Their prey typically includes small to medium-sized antelopes like gazelles and impalas. Sightings of cheetahs on safari are sporadic and local, limited to regions where the habitat and predator pressures are most favorable, making each encounter a truly special experience.
