DAY 01: ARRIVE CAIRO

Warm Welcome to Cairo, Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, after clearing customs & immigration, you will be comfortably transferred to your Hotel for a smooth check in. (Standard Check-In Time: 1500 Hrs). As the day unfolds take this time to relax, unwind and prepare for the enriching adventures that await you. DAY 02: CAIRO

DAY 03: CAIRO – ASWAN

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: FLY TO ASWAN | VISIT THE HIGH DAM | PHILAE TEMPLE | EMBARK NILE CRUISE

Start your day with an early morning flight from Cairo to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the impressive High Dam, an engineering marvel completed in 1970 to control the flooding of the Nile River and provide electricity. Learn about the dam’s construction, its significant impact on Egypt’s economy and agriculture, and enjoy panoramic views of Lake Nasser. Next, take a short boat ride to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Located on Agilkia Island, this ancient temple complex was meticulously relocated to save it from the rising waters of the High Dam. Later embark on your luxurious Nile Cruise, your floating hotel for the next few days. Settle into your comfortable cabin and take in the serene views of the Nile River as you begin your cruise journey.

DAY 04: ASWAN – KOM OMBO – EDFU

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: VISIT ABU SIMBEL | KOM OMBO TEMPLE

Begin your day with an early morning visit to the breathtaking Abu Simbel temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the colossal statues of Ramses II and the intricate carvings that depict ancient Egyptian victories and deities. Later witness the beautiful scenery of the Nile River as your cruise sails towards Kom Ombo. Arrive at Kom Ombo and disembark to visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Return to the cruise ship and enjoy a leisurely lunch onboard as you continue sailing towards Edfu. As the day winds down, indulge in a sumptuous dinner served onboard.

DAY 05: EDFU – ESNA – LUXOR

Start your day with an early morning visit to the Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Marvel at the grandeur of this ancient structure, with its towering columns, detailed carvings, and hieroglyphics that tell the story of Horus and his triumphs. Return to the cruise ship and set sail towards Esna.

DAY 06: LUXOR – CAIRO

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: VISIT LUXOR WEST & EAST BANK | TEMPLE OF HATSHEPSUT | VISIT KARNAK & LUXOR TEMPLE | FLY TO CAIRO

Disembark and start your day with a visit to the West Bank of Luxor, home to some of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites. Begin with the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll explore the tombs of ancient pharaohs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Next, visit the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs. On your way back to the East Bank, make a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues are the remains of a once grand mortuary temple and stand as silent guardians of the ancient Theban Necropolis. Continue your exploration with a visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt. Discover the grandeur and historical significance of this temple dedicated to the god Amun. Head to the nearby Luxor Temple, a majestic temple complex located in the heart of Luxor city. Later transfer to Luxor Airport for your evening flight back to Cairo. Arrive & transfer to the Hotel for Check In.
