Tbilisi – Commonly known by its former name Tiflis, and often mispronounced as Tbilisi, is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River.
Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, though it is overwhelmingly Eastern Orthodox Christian. Notable landmarks include cathedrals like Sameba and Sioni, the medieval Narikala Fortress, classical avenues Rustaveli and Agmashenebeli, as well as the exotically designed Georgian National Opera Theatre.
Present-day Tbilisi is one of the safest cities in Europe and frequently ranks among the most popular emerging destinations.

ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles.
The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.
Zhinvali lake is not a natural lake, but an artificial reservoir. It is located near Georgian Military Road. In the 1980s Soviet authorities decided to build a dam and supply water to rapidly growing Tbilisi.
Gudauri – is a ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. Signagi – is a town in Georgia‘s easternmost region of Kakheti and the administrative center of the Signagi Municipality. Although it is one of Georgia’s smallest towns, Signagi serves as a popular tourist destination due to its location at the heart of Georgia’s wine-growing regions, as well as its picturesque landscapes, pastel houses and narrow, cobblestone streets. Located on a steep hill, Signagi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance.
City is known as a “City of Love” in Georgia, with many couples visiting it just to get married.
The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe – is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex and the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe located 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi, Kakheti, Georgia.
Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century.
The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.
