DAY 01: ARRIVE NAIROBI – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY 

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE | CHIMPANZEE & RHINO SANCTUARY

A Warm Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, after clearing customs and immigration, you will be transferred comfortably escorted to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a unique 90,000-acre wildlife sanctuary located between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. It is also home to some of the last remaining northern white rhino in the world. The Conservancy is a popular safari destination and is home to the renowned ‘Big Five’. Arrive and Check In (Standard Check-In Time: 1500 Hrs). Later enjoy lunch and proceed for afternoon game drive in the park. Your game drive will also include a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see these remarkable primates. Next, you will visit the Rhino Sanctuary, which houses the last two northern white rhinos on the planet. Here, you’ll gain insights into the conservation efforts aimed at protecting these majestic animals from extinction.

DAY 02: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – LAKE NAKURU

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Nakuru, one of Kenya’s most renowned national parks, famous for its stunning birdlife and diverse wildlife. On arrival, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy lunch, surrounded by the serene beauty of the park. In the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park. As you traverse the park’s diverse landscapes, ranging from dense forests to open savannah, keep an eye out for the park’s residents, including the iconic white rhino, giraffes, zebras, and, if you’re lucky, the elusive leopard. The park is also home to a multitude of bird species, including the vibrant pink flamingos that flock to the lake’s shores. As the sun begins to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation, reflecting on the day’s adventures amidst the tranquil surroundings of Lake Nakuru.

DAY 03: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: BOAT RIDE AT THE LAKE

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake nestled in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and take some time to unwind, soaking in the serene atmosphere that surrounds this beautiful lake. In the afternoon, experience the tranquility of Lake Naivasha with a boat ride. As you glide across the calm waters, you’ll have the chance to observe an array of wildlife up close. Keep your eyes peeled for hippos lazily basking near the shore, and enjoy the sight of various bird species, including fish eagles, herons, and pelicans, soaring overhead or perched on the lake’s edges.

DAY 04: LAKE NAIVASHA

As you travel through the rolling plains and picturesque landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, you’ll feel the anticipation build for the adventures that await.Upon arrival at Masai Mara, check into your lodge or camp and enjoy a hearty lunch. Afterward, get ready for an exhilarating afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. The Masai Mara is renowned for its vast savannahs, abundant wildlife, and the dramatic annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. During your game drive, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and buffaloes, as well as many other species that inhabit the reserve. Your experienced guide will help you track the animals and share insights into their behaviors and the unique ecosystem of the Mara. DAY 05: MASAI MARA

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES

Rise early and set out for a morning game drive as the park comes to life with the first light of dawn. The early hours are prime time for spotting predators such as lions and cheetahs on the hunt. After the morning game drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely breakfast and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for another game drive, this time exploring different areas of the reserve. You might encounter large herds of elephants, playful zebras, towering giraffes and perhaps even a rare glimpse of the elusive leopard. Return to your lodge for dinner, where you can reflect on the day’s adventures and savor the sounds of the African night.

DAY 06: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

DAY HIGHLIGHTS: VISIT GIRAFFE CENTRE

After breakfast, you’ll depart from the Masai Mara and journey back to Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll visit the Giraffe Center, a unique and delightful experience dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. At the center, you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these gentle giants. Following your visit, transfer to the Hotel for check in. Evening is free at leisure.
