Arrival at Tashkent International Airport.

After immigration and customs meet driver outside of arrival hall. Transfer to hotel for check in.

Breakfast at hotel.

Meeting with driver and transfer for lunch to local restaurant. After lunch start guided tour in Tashkent – The Capital of Uzbekistan, the cosmopolitan city in the heart of Central Asia, the crossroad of cultures and the Great Silk Road. Tour in the Old Part of the city:

• Khazrat Imam Complex consisting of Barak Khan Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Tilla Sheikh Mosque and Museum with Koran of Caliph Othman 7th c.;
• Chorsu Bazaar; Kukeldash Madrasah and Djuma Mosque from outside;

Continue day with tour of modern part of Tashkent:

• Independence Square, Memorial of Victory, Romanov’s Mansion
• Monument of Courage
• Amir Temur Square; and Tashkent Metro;

Transfer to hotel and time free at leisure.

Overnight at hotel in Tashkent

Breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to the railway station to take high-speed train Afrosiab to Samarkand – travel time 2h10min.

Tour in Samarkand, the capital of the Great Empire of Tamerlane, The Rome of the East:

• Gur-Emir mausoleum, men burial site of Timurids; Ruhabad mausoleum from outside;
• Registan Square consisting of Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tillya Kari Madrasah;
• Bibi Khanum Mosque, once the largest Mosque of Central Asia
• Colorful Siyab bazaar, gathering sellers and farmers from the area; 
• Khazrat Khizr Mosque from outside;
• Shakhi Zinda Necropolis decorated with mosaic, terracotta and majolica;

Time at rest after the sightseeing.

Continue tour of Old Samarkand, Once known as Eden of the East: 

• Museum of Ulugbek observatory with the original part of sextant;
• Saint Daniel’s tomb;
• Museum of Archaeology of Afrosiab, which was destroyed by Genghis Khan and holds unique frescoes from the 7^th cc; 
• Silk Paper workshop from 9th c technology revived by local craftsmen and masters;

Transfer to the railway station to take the high-speed Train Afrosiab for the return journey.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel and check in.

Breakfast at hotel.

Transfer to Chimgan Mountains. Arrival to modern Mountain Resort Amirsoy, take a cable car to reach the top to see Amirsoy peak 30-40 min one-way. Here you will have some free time for walking around, enjoying the nature. On the way, back you will stop at Charvak lake. Charvak is an artificial lake, a popular resort in Tashkent region. Return to Tashkent and transfer to hotel. Free time at leisure.
